Well, yeah, that's true for sure. I'm originally from Harlan, Ky, but I got the hell out of there when I was 19 years old. I was able to move to an awesome town in North Carolina with 3 of my cousins who were around my age. 1 of them was also from Harlan, Ky, and the other 2 were from Middlesboro, Ky. We all helped each other out, and split responsibilities for the food, rent, and bills for a couple years until we got on our feet enough to live out on our own. It was great! We all still live in North Carolina. My advice to anyone who is struggling in South Eastern Kentucky is to try to save up some money and work out a wise plan, like a buddy system like my cousins and I did back then, to get out of there and to go give another place with a good reputation for great-paying and fulfilling jobs, adequate job training, and real educational options a try. You don't have to stay in South Eastern Kentucky and be sad, miserable, and poor forever! You can leave that hellhole behind and be happy, healthy, and prosperous! For real! There is a better life beyond the hills and hollers of Harlan, Ky. Just don't let that place make you so depressed that you can't see past it and its problems! North Carolina is the second fastest growing state in America, just behind Florida, which is first. I have 3 cousins from South Eastern Kentucky who now live down in Florida, and they love it there, too! People are moving to North Carolina and Florida in droves from all over the country, including Kentucky! Half of my neighborhood in North Carolina is from Kentucky, mostly South Eastern Kentucky, like I am. It's awesome! I wish you and everyone left behind there in South Eastern Kentucky the best! Good luck, man.

He's suppose to be this christian but he lies so much and now he's coach a 3rd grade AAU team that has two 5th graders on it. It's going to look bad when you play in this tournament this weekend in Knoxville and get your ass beat against 3rd graders that are actually 3rd grades and you have 5th graders on your team and how is that possible. The rumor that I heard is that him and Whitney Engle is seeing each other and that's why Easton is playing with them. Few parents have told me that their son asked to play and he told them it was for 3rd graders only and these kids is in 3rd grade but he had to many on the team and then he told some parents that had a kid that was in 4th grade that they couldn't play cause he was going by grade and he couldn't let them play. Him and Ashley is enjoying that money he's making from Monday night dribbles. What a waste of time and money and you can go online and get those drills for free. I thought if you were a preacher that you would be in church on Sundays and whatever day of the week you have service but I guess God isn't important when it comes to sports. That's a way to teach your children that sports comes before church and that's why I'm not a christian cause of people like Eddie "To Hottie" Creech. LOL

I was raised in Wallins Creek, Kentucky. Growing up I thought it was the best place to live and the safest at that. However, as the years have gone by, I have seen the change in this small community of mine. The darkness that now looms over it with depression, anxiety, and sin just rampant in just about every corner of the community. You see people obviously strung out on something with poor dirty looking young ins who you pray to God may have some hope for a better future one day, but sadly must turn your head because there is not much you can do. There are a total of 5-6 churches on one street by the school, but yet the people are still over run by sin. Separated by denomination instead of coming together as Christ’s people. We need a change- and that change must start first in the Church if we are ever gonna save our people and community. This is just part 1 of my chronicles, hopefully Lord’s willing I can keep adding to it. I would like to share some secrets and shed some light on this community of mine. It’s not important who I am, I would rather no one know. Now, few may ever read this, but to those who do, thank you for your time and God bless.
